With the election season upon us, at least for the few that are running towards October 25th, the need to meet and greet is a strong one. So if there is even a hint of an event where people, or more importantly voters, are going to be, then candidates will be there to help out.
Case in point is the gardening that was going on this week-end in Christie Pits and Trinity Bellwoods Park. If you have an event then the candidates will come and you might even have some that will work.
I actually had a good time and all I did help distribute a pile of dirt from one area of the park to several flower beds and trees.
In today’s gardening adventure I learned that you have to take the wood chips away from the base of the tree before you put on the fresh soil. I am going to be a heck of a gardener by the time this election is over.
